Covid-19 Santa Rosa Family Dentistry update

This week the American Dental Association recommended that all dental office postpone treatment that is considered elective.  This includes dental hygiene appointments, basic restorative procedures, and non-emergency examinations.

Due to the Coronavirus outbreak Santa Rosa Family Dentistry has decided to comply with these guidelines.  Starting this Friday March 20th, we will be seeing patients on a limited basis to include dental emergencies and various treatments that are in process.  We will have limited staff but will have a doctor at the office Mondays - Thursdays to meet the immediate needs of our patients.  We have already began contacting our patients that have appointments to reschedule in the future or place them on a list to call for once we reopen and have availability.  We are planning at this time for a 2-week closure, however, reopening this will depend on the conditions at that time.  We are working very hard to make sure we coordinate with our patients, but we ask for your understanding and patience during this difficult time.

We are taking all measures to make sure the patients and staff at Santa Rosa Family Dentistry stay healthy and that we do our part to help stop the spread of this virus.  We encourage all families to follow the guidelines of the CDC and together we can overcome this difficult time.

If you have questions or concerns, please call us at 850-932-0831.  If you have an after-hours emergency, please call the office starting at 8:00 am Monday - Thursdays and we will try and see you that day.

Cleanliness:

We have a stringent handwashing routine and glove use policy along with our usual thorough OSHA complaint standards.  We are taking additional measures to keep our patients healthy and free of concern.

We are disinfecting critical high traffic surfaces (doorknobs, chairs, tables, counter tops, bathrooms) multiple times throughout the day.

We encourage a through hand washing when you enter the facility and after your procedure is completed.

In the effort to protect our staff, and help stall the spread of the virus, we have decided that any patients experiencing the following symptoms we will need to postpone treatment until after this crisis has past:

FEVER

SHORTNESS OF BREATH

CHILLS

CONTINUED COUGH

BODY ACHES

ANY INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL IN THE PAST 3 WEEKS

Thank  you,

Santa Rosa Family Dentistry
